I have had females send me messages or VKs on this forum who have clearly not even bothered to read my profile as the have outside my age group or hundreds of miles away, and I have just replied with a “Thanks but no thanks “, rather than the drip feed of effort

Honestly Acpk55 they’re just not interested (enough) as quixotic said.

A good way to test interest is to give a short reply in a convo that doesn’t invite a response but is still nice. Something like ‘I completely agree’. If the other person isn’t interested that will end the conversation. If they are they’ll need to take the initiative to add something new.

Ultimately when I’m looking I want someone who is good at messaging (as well as the other stuff) so if we don’t click in that form it’s a no anyway for me

The women with a wall of text on their profile about what they are looking for and make absolutely no effort in the chat, just one line or one word responses., why are even bothering to look if cannot but in the minimum amount of effort.
