Yes, I have met someone via the site and I want to meet them. We have had quick 30 minute coffees in the park but now I want to spend some real time with her. Does an office meeting seem a plausible excuse if I'm working from home since March?

Why not! Since lockdown, I have deferred from joining this site as were not sure what's happening tomorrow so I started my own Business Consultancy. Recently a woman who lives nearby always seemed to be walking the same route as I. Suddenly one day something clicked between us. We worked away and where to meet, her sisters flat a few miles away. Using business as a cover, it worked well. it was a one-off, but worth it.

Yes an office meeting to discuss when your going back is a good one. My office did for managers. Get out and see her. Sounds like the sooner the better. Go for it!

As others have said, companies do ask for staff to go in, so its a great excuse - as long as your other half doesn't know your work mates?!

I agree with the Fox, in fact lockdown gives an excuse to get out regularly without affecting work.
Go for it but put in place the advice on here to avoid detection. Ultimately affairs are a risky business. They’ll always be a gamble.
