About Me:

I've spent most of last twenty years working furiously hard - I've kept two careers running simultaneously, one professional, the other as a published novelist. I've been married for 20 years and have no intimacy. I am desperate to be close to someone - this doesn't necessarily mean just a physical closeness, but a sense of really knowing and understanding someone and being understood. I don't want to quit my marriage, we have a shared history, and that keeps us together - my kids still need me (and my money) - but I don't want to spend the next few years without some spark. I've taken early retirement from my professional career to focus on writing, am solvent, but am bored and restless. I'm also a musician, I love the mountains, wildlife, strong coffee, pubs, books, good food. I'm just under 6 foot, 12 stone, average build, I keep fit and am in good shape, I look pretty good for my age. I have short, dark hair, greying a little now, green eyes. My looks wouldn't embarrass you.

Ideal Partner:

I want to meet someone who is curious and passionate - who has a lust for life and who is prepared to open up. I want to find someone to share new places, new experiences. If you like literature, art, films and music, that's good, but not essential. If you enjoy climbing mountains, country pubs, wondering what it's all about, then say hello.
