About Me:

I'm equally as excited as I am apprehensive about joining this site. I am not at all interested in leaving my marriage and my family, but am interested in a VERY discreet, intimate friendship. I'm looking for romance, good conversation about anything and hard & side-ripping laughter. Hopefully that alchemy then leads to something more....

I've a dry, acerbic and sometimes dark sense of humour with a healthy line in self-deprecation, but I'm also unassuming, pragmatic and (if one can ignore the irony) ethical. I generally can't abide small talk and like to move straight onto the most interesting aspects of situations and people.

Physically, I am 5"10, with blue eyes and I am not "ripped" in any sense. I mean, I do have a six-pack somewhere in there, in a 'carrier bag'. I am shaven-headed, primarily because I wanted to avoid the appearance of "hanging onto" it. I'm fastidiously clean and am reasonably well-presented, without crossing from pride into the depths of vanity.

In terms of a day/night out I like to; eat at good & unpretentious restaurants, or a pub with a real fire, or walking around a local (food) market, and to cook and bake (indoors and outdoors). Otherwise, I feel at home when lost in nature.

I listen to podcasts (food, comedy, politics) and I'm predominantly into rock music, but latterly I've enjoyed listening to both classical music (getting old?) and (vicariously, through my children) *some* pop music (getting younger?).

My credo - for this site - is very much "your loss". However, the comfort that approach provides lessens with each rejection (playing the pity card....pathetic isn't it?).

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for very discreet, "no strings intimacy". Ideally that person will want to develop a discreet friendship, plus those additional "benefits".

I am interested in an unadulterated yet adulterous woman (this felt terribly witty when I first wrote it....). My preference is for a woman who is in reasonable shape and takes care of themselves, but I don't have particular preferred looks "profile". If that someone were also funny, curious and conversational, that'd be great.

N.B. If you've not bothered to write your own profile, then I'm suspicious of how invested you are in this.
