Hello, my dear. "Fred" here. Daft pseudonym, I know. In the day time I am a professional scientist but also enjoy the arts especially reading, galleries and theatre. A big interest is my garden - I am trying to grow banana plants in North Yorkshire this summer - so a closet optimist!
