So here's the thing...

After recently separating, finishing my first novel and finding myself working between West Midlands and South East...here I am - awaiting you. Obviously a natural trajectory for a failed novelist emerging from a failed marriage.

Most people find me extremely easy and entertaining company, happy to immerse myself between high and low culture ( although perhaps hard to distinguish in these postmodernist days), but someone who listens, and enjoys to be challenged. I NEVER, EVER view people through superficial markers of 'success' or 'status'. Qualities such as positivity , lust for life and being true to yourself matter far more to me. Reciting excepts from London Review of Books is so passé - doing something about transforming the lives of the low-paid workers who clean the offices of its staff is my kind of cultural discourse. Ok, ok, I will tone down the self-rightous political rant. Where were we? Oh, yes...I'm trying to make a good impression on you. I'm sporty, in good shape but also value inner peace and mediation - I came very close to buying my own flotation tank not so long ago as I pursued the ultimate vanity project! You now know I'm a bundle of contradictions so at least you have a true impression of me.

Moving on swiftly...
Not uncommon to be described as youthful, sexy and 'cute' (in the New Yorker's sense of the word) but of course that would be your call. I'm no stranger to adulterous or open relationships but returning to the field of play after the ending of a couple of recent relationships with unattached women where I was not ready to give more at this juncture in my life - obviously not fair if expectations unbalanced, and doing the right thing matters to me if somebody is going to get hurt. So looking for someone to make an alternative version of Kubrick's film 'Eyes Wide Shut', one where we each know what we are getting into - yet spurred on by the prospect that everything is possible.

So if you believe curiosity is the lust of the mind (and perhaps flesh) here I am!
