About Me:

Sometimes it's easier to say what you're not than what you are, so I'm "not" several things: not unintelligent, not bad looking, not a psycho (which you'll be glad to hear, no doubt). I don't have airs and graces and don't take myself too seriously. I'd like to think I'm an open, optimistic, easy going, and contented person, self-assured but not self-important. I'm fit and in shape for my age, of slim to athletic build. I run and cycle regularly, but I'm not a great gym-goer, I'd much rather be outside. So many activities are better al fresco, don't you think? Apart from the odd creak in my knees I don't feel any different from when I was 30. I still take stairs 2 at a time and have great reserves of stamina, should you ever feel the need to draw upon them.

I have a sense of humour which tends toward the dry. I like wit and lightheartedness and I'll laugh at your jokes if you laugh at mine. I also like sex, red wine, and cooking, pretty much in that order. Unfortunately the universe doesn't care what I like and in what order, so I'm over-supplied with some things and starved of others. So it goes.

I'm not interested in a quick fling, not least because I really can't be doing with going back to square one every few months. I'd rather have a proper affair, which lasts as long as it's good for both of us. I'm looking for someone in a similar situation who is seeking a similar type of arrangement.

Ideal Partner:

My ideal partner will be into the affair as much as I am. I don't know if I've got a "type". Physical attraction is important, yes, but secondary to personality and soul. I don't necessarily want someone who's just like me. I am open to having new experiences and I love a lover who opens doors in the mind and imagination. Do that - and make me smile - and we'd be off to a great start.
