About Me:

It’s been a while since I was here. I'm very lucky and happy in life, so I find it hard to justify looking for more than my fair share – already having the other half and the whole deal. But I seem to have too much time on my hands, enough to convince myself life does work better with 1.1 relationship. The 1.0 part has been filled by more than a decade now, and I’d hate for that to change. But the 0.1 role was vacated a while ago and perhaps it’s ready to be filled again.
It's unlikely I’m what you’re looking for but maybe you’ll prove me wrong. I like how I look but not everyone’s type for sure. Smart, or a smart arse. Successful enough to have earned some confidence but I’m a late starter and suffering from easily distracted ambition. No children and not a family type either. Analytical in my professional life, creative after hours. Recently left London career and semi-retired to the South West, loving every minute of it. I don’t care about many people, but I care deeply for my close old friends. Perhaps this could be a beginning of another special friendship. I can do casual encounters and I’ve done long distance but it would have to be quite unique to be worth it. I don’t need much attention but I’m likely to get bored of a lover whom I cannot consider a dear friend. If that’s not your thing, that's OK.

Ideal Partner:

Looking for an interesting man or... an open minded couple (however unlikely that is here). I'm afraid I can’t engage with you if you have children and a discovered affair would jeopardise your marraige. Too much potential for collateral damage and I was burned once. I hope you’re a kind person, despite being here. Honesty is obviously a stupid thing to expect but at least being at peace with your choices would be a great start to this. I hope this is not an escape from hell for you either, as I don’t believe this can work if desperation with misery are playing the matchmaker.
What I’m hoping for? Wicked sex, obvs 😊 but other than that I hope we’ll also have those precious getting to know each other conversations, quickly getting past generic topics of latest holidays and past conquests. If we hit it off, we’ll be more likely to talk about retiring on Mars or secret strategies of Putin. I’m also a famously terrible drunk texter, so that will keep you entertained in between our meetings or calls.
Please don’t take it personally it I don’t write back to your message. Women tend to receive a lot of messages here, and sometimes there just isn’t a good reason not to write back - I decide very intuitively and can't always justify. Sometimes I'm ashamed of the reasons I would have to give you if I analysed my decision making in the romance department with brutal honesty. Saying ‘sorry but no’ without explanation is not my style either.
