About Me:

Ordinary and wish I wasn't, but have had my moments. I'm a bit of a slow burn, and an acquired taste, so I'm told. I have some layers and don't come without baggage, but who at our age doesn't?

I like the space of the countryside, but not averse to the city. Well-travelled over the years, but not so much lately. I still travel quite a bit within the UK, and enjoy the anonymity of it. I'm always entranced by new places, but it's always more fun with company.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS NEXT BIT. I will always try to treat everyone on here with politeness and respect. That means I expect it in return. If I provide my password, I expect it to be reciprocated. If I don't find you attractive, I will be honest and in doing so I will try to be kind. Again, I expect the same. If I am in dialogue, I will not disappear without signing off or without an explanation. If we disagree about something, we can disagree, without hiding behind the technology of the 'block' button. After all, we are not children. And if I am in dialogue with you, I will remain in dialogue with others. That does not make me a 'player'. Affaires, by their very nature, can end in a second. Remaining in contact with others does not mean that I am sleeping around. And finally, I am not here for anybody's validation, so timewasters take note. WARNING: I don't look like I sound - or write. Because I make an effort to string a sentence together correctly, an impression can be formed that I am some kind of intellectual man of letters, or even an emotionally 'in touch' new man. I am neither. I have often been described as hyper-masculine in my looks, complete with a strong jaw, a hooded brow and a dark beard that has to be kept constantly under control. This is not a boast since, aside from the inevitable 'knuckle-dragger' connotations, I would probably do better on here with slightly 'softer' looks. I am what I am - and that is no pretty boy.

Nevertheless, I'm tall and dark haired, or at least I was as it's turning to grey now, with blue eyes and currently clean shaven, although that's not always the case. I have an athletic build. I tend to dress simply and casually, although I can suit up on request and look almost human!

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for someone who likes being a woman, and being appreciated as such. As far as the visuals go, I'm not prescriptive, but I'm partial to a woman with a waist, or one who dresses to accentuate same. A nice dress and some heels go a long way. Petite is fine, but as I'm 6' 1", I can handle someone tall as well. Slim is fine, as is a more voluptuous figure.

As far as character, mostly someone nice, and someone who'll smile at me. After all, that's why were here, isn't it? I like a laugh, as well as a good debate, but pleasant company is of greater import in the end. Just be nice to me, and I'll strive to be nicer.
