About Me:

Hello I'm a "mature" single lady... but being single does not mean I'm a "bunny boiler".
Far from it..
I'm sensible, grounded and independent.

I have been on and off here for 7 years since my long term partner and I separated.
I keep saying I'm not coming back on here and will look for someone single.
I've tried but that just hasn't happened.
I'm not fickle, I just can't find anyone that suits me on singles sites.
I need someone who suits me mentally first.. I'm quite quirky. I need that strong mental connection.
I'm very much a personality person.. that's definitely what attracts me.
Looks are secondary but of course there has to be the "elusive chemistry".

So.. what am I like?
Nothing special to look at.
I'm not Helen Mirren unfortunately, though she is a good bit older than me.. and a lot thinner.
Apparently I look like a mixture of Denise Welch, it's my hair I think, and Helen Lederer.. that's my eyes.
I'm smallish 5ft4 but always in heels, not a flat shoe or trainer type.
Have short pale blonde modern hair and unusual greenish eyes.
I'm far from skinny but not huge, a curvy 16.. That's in size, not in stones by the way!
Modern dressed but definitely not mutton dressed as lamb.
I'm a receptionist for an engineering company so fairly well groomed.
I'm lively and outgoing.. and don't look my age.
Very far from a "little old biddy! in any way.

Ideal Partner:

My previous partner of 22 yrs was 9 1/2 years younger than me but I'm not looking for a "toyboy".
Very flattering thank you but I have sons older than some on here who contact me.
Much too mature for that and I'd be blue in the face trying to hold my stomach in to look good.
Someone nearer my age or a little! younger would be nice. .
Interesting, intelligent, great SOH, loving and affectionate..
No Mr Greys please.. not my thing..
but must be a great! kisser.. very important as it seems to be a dying art!

Definitely an "old fashioned" affair!
I have plenty of time and no one to make excuses to.
