Should I have my age against my name?
Hi I see people going on about age on here they set age limits , to me age is just a number ? I’m now classed as a pensioner but myself and other people cannot believe it. I am youthful, fit and very active but I have a 67 against my name

I woykd be prepared to nudge everyone on looks and personality, so set my filters for a plus 10 , minus 20 🤣... its fun and adventures , not a life partner, so sge is less important providing there's attraction.
But it serms a lot of people are dismissive on age !

It is always surprising how many people want meet someone 5 to 15 years younger than themselves.
Is this arrogance or stupidity??

It's not just the physical aspects I'm sorry. The OP could be fitter than me but it's unlikely we have anything on common given the age difference.

I prefer knowing the age , as well as having an age range. It helps to build rapport and find things in common too like music etc

Doesn't matter what age you put, no one seems to respect age ranges and you get all sorts messaging.

Just don’t be creepy … and be natural who knows …
In lockdown I ran around a park near us most days .. at a similar time … used to see the same guy walking his dog . Started with a smile … then a morning .. then we’d have a chat most days - always say hello now if I see him - it was nothing romantic just being nice (also no one would fancy me running 😂) but seeing him most days regularly built up a nice rapport… however I think if he suddenly said o you look good in that I’d think it a bit weird. I’m happy to take a compliment but I’d feel a bit uncomfortable.
So I’d say be natural and start with a smile and work from there

@Conradd: I do run. The knack - or luck - would be running at the same time in the same direction. If there was a regular time or direction then I'd tend to think a succession of every-few-days hellos arising from running towards her head-on would tell me enough to work out whether she'd be alarmed or flattered by a same-direction same-time jogalong.

Seriously the world has gone mad. What is wrong with a man complimenting a woman or vice versa. Jeez some people are so uptight here. Take a compliment when given, I certainly do
