Hotel Nerves
Have you ever had the experience of an ie having their nerves get the better of them and leave the hotel room before the sexual encounter? How did you react? Did you see them again? Did you speak to the again?

Not happened to me before. I can understand if somebody were to 'leg it', due to nerves. If you've dated previous to a hotel meet, then I think it's less likely to happen.

I left early due to health and safety reasons. I was unnerved by what I saw.
Prior to an act, I observed an area of broken skin with bruising. Other than the visual, there was no tell tale sign of anything awry. His scent was great and overall appearance, dapper.
All activity came to a halt. I diplomatically explained what I saw and told him to address it. He appeared receptive. We spoke again days after but did not meet again.

This is why chatting and building up a real connection is absolutely essential before having a coffee/public (sort of) date.
By the time there’s a hotel meet, you’re both comfortable with each other. If someone got cold feet with me, I’d absolutely respect rather than be annoyed by it. Had my fair share of women getting cold feet while in the chatting phase when their fantasy of having an affair starts getting all too real…

I’ve not experienced this but I think how people approach hotel meets is depending on lots of factors like how much you connect, whether you’ve met previously. For me, my IE and I went straight to a hotel meet as we’d struck up such a good connection after speaking non stop for 9 days.

Flirty talk is good dirty talk can be a mine field
As long as you get on have flirty chats and laughs and a couple of coffee meets before, everything should go ok
Of course there will be nerves but hopefully good exciting nerves
Remember it's a big step for both of you to close that hotel door behind and forget the world for a few hours

Oh heavens no, there's no space for flakers in life. You've got to both have met before, gelled, and have had lots of banter and flirty dirty talk to set the mood in leading up to the hotel encounter.

We were doing some reminiscing this morning, and he said he was nervous on our first room meet, but hoped I liked him enough to meet again.
On reflection, I think it is understandable that nerves can get the better of us the first time round, but we can more than make up for it in other ways, if penetrative sex doesn’t quite work out on the day.
I told him it was an amazing 6 hours. Meeting him again was never a doubt.

I am yet to meet someone and l am probably going to insist on separate rooms for an all night encounter so l can check myself in, freshen up and then chat with my IE until we both want to tear one another's clothes off... this way there will be little room for nerves

I've never experienced this. It is essential to meet in a normal social situation first anyway. Have a drink or coffee together so you can talk and develop a closer connection. If you are migrating from a couple of messages direct to a hotel encounter then it just introduces a lot of uncertainty and nerves...
