About Me:

I am a 44 year old Yorkshire lass,having lived most of my life in Yorkshire apart from 4 years as a student at university. I would describe myself as caring, calm, empathic and a good listener. My friends call me their Agony Aunt and come to me with all their problems! I can also be lively and fun to around. I spent some years away from the workplace as a stay at home parent, and am currently a voluntary worker, whilst I look for paid employment. Like most girls, I enjoy shopping and eating out, my favourite food is chinese which I love. I'm a big fan of 80's music, but enjoy most types of music. A trip to the flicks is always good, as is the bowling alley, browsing museums and galleries and sightseeing. As a busy mum of two I also adore a visit to the Spa, with time to unwind in the sauna and jacuzzi, heaven! I'm 5'5" and would describe myself as a curvy lady. I have dark blonde/light brown hair, medium length and green eyes. Friends say I have nice eyes and smile, which I hope is true. As a busy mum, I dress casual in jeans and T shirts most of the time but when I go on a night out, I like to get glammed up in a dress and some killer heels!

I've come on to this site after a lot of soul searching. I am married but the spark left my marriage some years ago, but we both remain commited to our children and to a stable family life for them. So I'm not looking to change that. But to be honest the only conversation is about the kids, work or bills and there is more to life than that. I'm looking to connect with a kind, caring guy who can provide friendship, and after that we would just have to see how it goes... Not overly interested in looks, although like most girls, I love a tall, handsome guy but personality is more important, and is the key thing. I love a man with a sense of humour, someone like Matthew Perry off the sitcom Friends, who would make me laugh...
