About Me:

I am a fit and fifty, self employed builder and property restorer, with a taste for the arts and design. I like most types of music but love a bit of old soul (northern especially) and reggae and ska and old school hip hop but equally happy listening to 6 music all day or radio 3. I like to keep up with world events and am left of centre politically but don't wear my heart on my sleeve. I like to road cycle to keep fit and sane..ha but am not a gym bunny. I have three teenage kids and my own home and business. I love art, film, travel, food, cooking. Not big on sport or drinking but will do both to be social! Don't smoke either...yuck! I have lived in Bristol for ten years now but came from London before that. I love to travel and have been to many parts of Europe, Scandinavia, USA, near East, India, Thailand. Enjoy camping too! Lots more to tell but saving that for when we meet! 5'7" athletic build, short greying brown hair, not balding but in recession(boo hoo). Like to wear casual clothes - Levi's, Howies, Camper, White Stuff - but smart casual, classic with a twist, rather than track suit bottoms (a bad look on anybody) Not Brad Pitt but not the Elephant Man either. Nice eyes. Not macho but not wet either. Easy going nature.

Ideal Partner:

Looking for someone with similar interests to me. Open minded warm honest and emotional but a grown up when required. Not fussed about ethnicity or physique as long as you look nice, care about your appearance and smell nice but not into Barbie girls at all. Stylish in a slightly alternative arty way .
