About Me:

Hello. It’s been a while since I’ve been on IE but I’ve missed the fun and excitement so thought it was time to come back and time to refresh my profile. I’m married and have no intention of changing that but clearly I’m missing something otherwise I, and you, wouldn’t be here.

I have two fantastic, grown-up daughters who still keep me young and on my toes and mean the world to me.
I’m fairly well travelled, particularly around Europe, and enjoy going to new places – both cities and countryside - so much to see and so little time! I have lots of interests – too many really – and can always get interested in something new if I’m with someone who can share their passion about it.

I’m just under 6ft tall, give or take an inch, and slim/average build, which isn’t bad for someone who likes their food and drink – I have something of a reputation for having more than one pudding or piece of cake! I’ve been going to the gym on and off for the past decade or so, but I’m certainly not a fanatical body-builder or fitness freak and often find an excuse not to go – well it’s the thought that counts. To be fair, if there wasn’t the Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna I probably wouldn’t go at all!

I’m usually clean shaven but may go for the designer stubble look … OK not so much of the designer bit! So if you like that it would be convenient – but I’ll shave more often if I have a worthwhile incentive. Apart from any stubble and a full head of hair I’ve never done, eaten or drunk whatever it is that puts hairs on your chest or down your back so I’m not furry.

Health is good but eyesight appalling without my glasses on. Best feature? I’ve been told my legs are nice but I’m not too sure what that means for a bloke?! Most people think I look much younger than I am, but may be they’re just being polite.

Dress sense? Generally casual but usually have to be suited and booted for work, although I normally ditch the tie nowadays – seems to be acceptable in most situations. Weekends tend to be the usual jeans and tee shirts.

Ideal Partner:

We’re all here for different reasons with different circumstances but are all presumably looking for something we feel is missing from our lives. I’d like some of the passion and mystery, intrigue and intimacy, desire and pleasure back again. And I would like to find someone who, for whatever reason is also looking for some of this.

It would be great to think of long evenings together or romantic weekends away, but, realistically, the chances of getting this is fairly remote – family and work will always come first. Nice thought though, and who knows what opportunities might come our way.

What would I like you to be like? I guess this is all fairly predictable and cliched and probably makes me sound shallow but here goes: attractive, elegant, feminine, slim to medium build and all in reasonable proportion – I’ve tried to resist saying “with curves in all the right places” … oh damn, said it – educated and intelligent, tolerant, polite and charming, interested in art and music of all sorts, nature. I could go on but that’s probably enough.

You could be tall or petite, short or long-haired, blond, brunette or black … or red, pink or purple … but I would probably draw the line at blue-rinsed perms. Nice eyes, nice smile with a warm and friendly personality. To be honest, if we click and appreciate each other’s company, the rest doesn’t really matter.

This may not ever be relevant but while we’re on the subject of appearances and what I find desirable I have to confess to being quite partial to lingerie, so if you’re wearing stockings and a lacy bra and knickers I’ll go weak at the knees. Having said that, if you say you’re not wearing anything at all underneath it would have exactly the same effect on me!
