About Me:

Educated, arty, sporty, witty (I hope), tending towards the unconventional, but capable of conforming when necessary!, lover of travel / food & wine / the company and conversation of friends, disliker of intolerance/ injustice / mistreatment of animals. I am a romantic at heart and am looking for the warmth as well as the excitement and buzz that has been missing. Height about 5 ft 10, grey hair, slim body generally in good shape. Capable of playing sport still, so definitely no couch potato. Dress mostly casual, though unusually for a man I love colour and style rather than grey and conformity. Having said that, I can look good in a smart suit for the right occasions. If you are happy to see my nails painted,as they are most of the time, and even to see me cross-dressing (for special occasions). then so much the better. As you can see, I wouldn't be for you if you can't cope with the unconventional, at least occasionally!

My ideal partner: someone who shares some at least of my interests - the arts, sport, politics, food and wine, Italy and France. Someone who is intelligent and articulate, tactile, and maybe has a mischievous sense of humour and doesn't take herself or life too seriously. And if all this comes in the shape of an affair, with only occasional meets, that's fine as I would be the soul of discretion, though I'd be just as happy with a single person.
