About Me:

I'm a married man of 45 (46 next month). I'm a professional person educated to post graduate level, but never ever equate intelligence with education: two very different things! My job is demanding, challenging, all consuming and serious. It is also highly enjoyable, rewarding, complex and hugely fun. I love paradoxes!

I like to think that I'm pretty easy going, I enjoy the company of people and have friends from every conceivable walk of life. I am outgoing, but also, fundamentally quite shy, although I am quietly confident, and I know what I want from life.

This might sound really hypocritical, writing a profile to be on this site, but I am honest and straightforward. I've been told by more than one person that I am very caring, enthusiastic and positive.

I am married (for the second time) and definitely intend to stay married. Nevertheless, there is something missing, both sexually (I love sex) and spiritually, from my marriage, and I'm putting myself on here just to see, really, if there is someone, maybe in a similar situation to myself, who can provide what is missing, and I can do the same for her in return.

To be honest, my expectations (in terms of getting any serious replies) are quite low, and I've never even contemplated doing anything like this before. However, you undoubtedly only live once, and I think the worst thing would be to look back, at the end of your life and think "if only I'd tried that...."

So, here I am... This bit is a bit hard!

Fact: I'm 5'9" tall, medium build, hair used to be brown, now pretty much silver (the ravages of time & none of us are what we used to be!) and fairly short but not crew cut & I still have plenty of it. I wear glasses.

Opinion: I think I'm reasonably good looking. Not an Adonis but not Shrek either. Basically just your fairly normal looking bloke really, I suppose.

Ideal Partner:

I'm very open minded about this.

Physical attraction is without doubt important, but I (I actually don't think most blokes do) require model like figures & looks. However, don't rule yourself out if you are a model!

I prefer a woman who has a nice curvy build: size 12-16, something like that.

In terms of hair/eye colour etc. without wishing to sound desperate (I'm not), I really don't mind, because, at the end of the day, personality is so much more sexy and attractive.
