About Me:

I am 56 years old and have lived in Jersey all my life. I am quite sensitive and intuitive with a wry sense of humour and keen wit! I took early retirement on health grounds and for family reasons some years ago but previously worked in accounts. I have a very active social life - sometimes TOO active - partly due to the fact that I am trying to make up for lost time; my social life only really began seven years ago!
I am a keen singer (choir not solo!) and did belong to four choirs - now down to three! I'm also very interested in amateur dramatics and do quite a bit of voluntary work to keep myself occupied.
My ideal weekend away (finances permitting!) would be spent in a quiet bed and breakfast in a rural village in Normandy or Brittany and my ideal meal out would be a romantic "dinner a deux" at a secluded bistro - preferably Italian. I am just 5 feet tall (all the best things come in small packages!!!) and curvaceous, verging on chubby if I am being strictly honest! However I am working on this with twice weekly visits to the gym! I have short brown wavy hair (with a few grey streaks)and hazel eyes, which I consider to be my best feature.
I favour a more classic style of fashion, be it dressy or casual - too old now to try to be trendy (don't want to look like mutton dressed up as lamb), not that I ever really was; I prefer to find a style that suits my figure and stick to it. Shoes are my weakness - I'm a bit of an Imelda Marcos on that score!!

Ideal Partner:

I am currently in an on/off relationship (he's married) which appears to be going nowhere at present! I know he has very valid and understandable reasons for not paying me a great deal of attention at present but it doesn't stop me feeling neglected! At the same time I don't feel that I can or want to end it under the current circumstances. I suppose that basically I am looking for someone to cosset and pamper me and make me feel like their special lady, but without compromising my freedom.
I am seeking a truly romantic guy and NO, I don't mind if he is married, but I am not setting out to break any homes or hearts; I would be discreet if he had a partner! While I am seeking the physical relationship which I am lacking and so greatly miss at present, I would also want us to be friends too and to have respect for one another; this would be important to me. Appearance is irrelevant to me (within reason!!!) but I would want him to be a kind and considerate lover and person in general, with a good sense of humour.
Ideally he would live in Jersey but Guernsey or the other Islands are only a few minutes away, providing that he could travel without too many questions being asked!! Alternatively if he lived in the UK but visited Jersey regularly "on business", this may present opportunities too!! So come on boys, there could be a red hot welcome waiting for you here in Jersey when you make one of those business trips - discretion guaranteed!
