About Me:

I've very recently found myself single after a very messy final few years of a near 20 year relationship and am in the mood for making some changes. I'm starting a degree in September and I love going to the gym and swimming, as well as going out to see live bands playing. I feel like I can start to breath again after being suffocated for so long. Quite simply, there's a world out there that I plan to start enjoying a lot more than I have been able to for many years. I'm slightly above average height at just over 5 7, and generally wear boots with 2 inch heels on them. I have short hair which is always dyed-premature greying does no woman any favours! I'm not the sort of woman who takes an age to get ready for a night out, and I never wear make up. Any men after a dolly bird, move along...
I've a curvy build, more so since starting at the gym this year and like to dress smartly but casually although sometimes drift off into slightly 'unique'-I like short skirts with my long boots and never wear black. Life's far too short for plain colours.

Ideal Partner:

I'm just here out of curiosity and to see who might be out there that I might click with. I like men who can make me laugh above all else. A passion for music is also high on the list of things that will keep me interested. I'm an ageing hippy at heart, so I prefer laid back people, but still with self discipline and self respect. I'm a Northerner born and bred and there are many people who find my very dry and down to earth approach difficult to keep up with. All I'll say is, I'm not for the faint hearted! That said, I can listen for hours, talk for longer and am quite happy to chat to anyone who can hold my interest for more than 10 minutes :)
