| I am not on this site to carve notches on the bed post but to find someone maybe, but not necessarily, in a similar situation for the odd drink, meal, day out,night together. | Hi,I'm John. I'm an outgoing, some would say amusing 57 year old man. I am currently in a very difficult relationship, hence my need to try this site for the first time. I attended public school/university but hopefully appear more well educated as opposed to 'posh'. I work in wine marketing (and receive quite a few free samples!) I love good food along with good wine and I like all types of music. I am reasonably fit through walking/jogging/swimming/tennis and I lift the odd weights but not obsessively.I grew up in Sussex and live in Brighton very near the sea which I love. I haven't travelled extensively but have visited most of Europe.I love reading and favourite authors are John Updike, Angela Carter and P.G. Wodehouse. An ideal weekend would be to take a beautiful woman to a boutique hotel on the coast with a restaurant serving the freshest fish and an extensive wine list! |

| I am just over six foot, reasonably toned with a small wine belly (as opposed to the beer variety!)I have been told I have a nice smile and laughing eyes (whatever that means?)I wear suits to work and jeans at the weekend. I like to think I dress fairly modern but appropriate to my age. |
