I don't have any set thinking about the appearance of a possible new friend. I love women in all their different shapes and sizes. I suppose if push were to come to shove, I like women with a womanly shape (though not very large ladies to be honest. Sorry.) and definitely with a certain maturity, both physical and mental. You'll have a really good sense of humour (daft, witty, ironic) and be able, and happy to spot the absurdities of life. My politics are more liberal than right of centre. I'm looking for a woman who may not quite know what she wants from being on a site like this - who's happy to chat about anything and everything, who'd like to show a more uninhibited side of their character, either in writing or on the phone or in a meeting. I'm up for exploring the power of an online relationship. Or the excitement of a physical one.

A bit of a reprobate, with a penchant for the sensual side of life, combined with a dry sense of humour that can sometimes fall into silliness...
I'm fit, young in mind and heart, attached and not wanting to rock any boats. I'm reasonably intelligent, solvent, and can carry on a conversation for more than 30 secs on a variety of subjects, though football and sport in general will find me floundering after a lot less than 30 secs. I like writing (it's part of my work) and can use words of more than one syllable when I'm doing so. My twin passions are food (eating and cooking both) and music, of all kinds, except perhaps trance. Not sure if it's possible to be passionate about trance... Classical, jazz, blues and pretty much anything that's been made with heart and authenticity. I read as much as I can, which is, sadly, rather less than it used to be - crime, novels and history mostly. I've been through my "wanting to take over the world" stage in business, having built and then sold a research business of which I was reasonably proud. Now I'm currently working as a consultant in the media research business. Family and business have led to some reasonably extensive travels - especially to the States and Europe,less to Asia sadly. Italy remains very dear to my heart... even Tuscany in the Summer, when it's crammed with daft tourists. Not much shocks me, aside from idiot politicians (why am I still surprised by the depths of stupidity, venality and arrogance they can mine?), but I hate bigotry, racism and any other hateful ism. I think on the whole I'm pretty non-judgemental. |

| I'm a tad over 6', with salt and pepper short cut hair. Hopefully giving me a more distinguished rather than daft appearance. Still reasonably well preserved (at least until I look too closely in the mirror) and fit enough for everyday life, including the important things in life. A radiographer once described me as "having very big lungs"! Useful for free diving and snogging, but not much else, I imagine. Perhaps you can guess which of those two activities holds more appeal? I dress smart-ish casual most of the time - jeans etc. Hate ties and suits these days I'm afraid - only a funeral or a VERY big business deal will get me into one. Or a lady, of course. Got all my own teeth, legs, arms and other important bits that you might be interested in. |
