About Me:

I'm a busy working mum. I find my job very fulfilling. I travel a lot with my job - mostly in the UK but sometimes to exciting overseas locations (next stop: Chicago!). But I do work to live and I enjoy my evenings and weekends with the kids (girls aged 11 and 7). We enjoy swimming, the cinema, books and cheesy tv. We also like trips away - either camping or trips to London or Manchester at weekends.
I grew up in the wilds of the Scottish islands but now enjoy suburban living in Leeds. It's nice to feel like an adopted Yorkshire-person! The city has a great vibe, and you're never short of places to go, whether it's food or the arts or a myriad other cultural stuff. An ideal night out would involve music/theatre and some nice food and wine. Equally, though, I enjoy nights at home and I love cooking. I like experimenting and trying out different things and my cupboards are stacked with all kinds of crazy ingredients - particularly from my Japanese experiments!
I think I would be described as outgoing. I'm chatty and energetic and passionate about everything I engage in. I love to keep up with the news and have some radio channel or another on from dawn til dusk, so there is always conversation of some sort or another in my house. I have lots of close friends, a really trustworthy bunch, but they live all over Europe so we have lots of Skype chats.
I'm sure I've forgotten something... I'm 5'8" and have long, light brown hair. I'm average build. I think my best features are my teeth and my neck (sounds odd, I know, but. I'm being honest!). I'm pretty well dressed and take a lot of pride in my appearance and an interest in wearing things that make me look good.

Ideal Partner:

I'm interested in someone who is attractive, attentive and sexy. I want someone who has something to say for himself and can engage in really good conversation, and who has a keen sense of humour and fun. I attend church, and would like someone who is sympathetic to religion - whether they buy into it themselves or not, I really don't care. I would like to meet someone who is interested in being well turned out, who makes the effort to look good, though I'm not interested in vain guys.
