About Me:

I'm married, am self-employed in a professional role and have a young daughter. I enjoy the outdoors, particularly hiking in the Preseli Hills and along the coast path or exploring ancient and historical sites (castles, standing stones, dolmens...) and If I can finish off in a nice pub for a decent cider (no strongbow!) and some good food all the better! I also enjoy running (well, plodding is a more accurate description!) and have recently started up again after a few years off.

I'm vegetarian but don't let that put you off - I'm not one of the preachy types and I'm not going to roll my eyes if someone wants a good steak (medium-rare) ;-) I've always wanted to travel but haven't done as much as I would have liked - although I've been to some lovely places in the UK and Europe. I hover somewhere between 5ft 4 and 5ft 5 and have a medium build. I'm told I have a nice figure but I'm fairly indifferent - as long as everything's in working order I'm happy! I have nice eyes - although I've put that they're hazel in colour, in all honesty they tend to change colour slightly depending on the light (hazel/greeny/grey/brown). Apparantly I'm also supposed to put something about my hair style - it's long and brown and I brush it in the mornings! I'm fairly low maintenance looks-wise but that doesn't mean I don't make an effort, it just means there are other things I'd rather be doing than spending hours at the mirror or with the hair straighteners! I dress for comfort as a rule, I'm a jeans and boots kind of girl, but I scrub up well ;-)

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for some good company and some fun with somebody with similar interests and an adventurous personality. To start with I'm not looking for more than friendship but I'm open minded to more (otherwise I wouldn't be here, would I?). I'm happy in my marriage as a rule but he works long hours and I spend a lot of time on my own. I value discretion, good manners and a decent sense of humour (can be as quirky as you like) but please don't take yourself too seriously. And excess vanity is a big no no! Casual but with the ability to scrub up well (like me) is good :)
