About Me:

Ok, here goes: easy going, sane (my psychiatrist assures me), good sense of humour, educated, good listener, undemanding, courteous, easy to be with, interested in current affairs, sport and reasonably well read and, of course, discreet. Married for VLT (very long time) or at least so it seems; brother/sister relationship. Carpe diem and all that - while we still can. Maybe we meet for a drink, and, if nobody does a runner, move on to a meal - while enjoying good wine, good company and sparkling conversation; hey, am I getting carried away here?. I dislike bad grammar (but not yet a grumpy old man, I hope!) but also enjoy talking complete rubbish, perhaps with the help of some vino! So there, if you think we might have a little in common - tho' it is said that successful relationships are based on mutual misunderstanding - I would love to hear from you.....soon - before we all teeter over the cliff. That all reads rather seriously does it? Difficult to strike the right note....Irish accent. Casual clothes most of time but happy to make the effort if 'more' required. Reasonably athletic! Am told I look 'fine'. Own teeth and nice smile! Oh, I can cycle a fair bit without getting a heart attack; and, yes, we can go for cycle - I'm stunning in lycra - instead of meal, if you prefer......maybe meal later....On second thoughts, maybe a walk for starters? Let's walk before we cycle.....And, oh, I have an Irish accent.

Ideal Partner:

Possibly someone who is somewhat bored in current situation and would like some diversion from the mundane, who generally reflects my own position and someone who relates to some of the above and feels she could be comfortable with me and vice versa. Calm, humorous, pragmatic, mature, discreet, realist.....and straight out of a James Bond movie...and can talk complete rubbish (before or after the vino)....Really, it's all in the meeting, though we have to start somewhere I suppose.
