General

Born in the ‘baby boom’ in Liverpool (a scion of Scouse, Irish, Italian, Cornish stock) I have been married for 35 years, semi-retired, but am now principal carer for my wife.. Fairly erudite (I can put the apostrophe in the right place) and self-effacing - they say I have a sense of humour - they may just be having a laugh! Love trying new restaurants to eat in, starting with ‘picks and Prosecco‘; chilled Chardonnay flowing freely, witty, stimulating conversation - I could listen to for hours.
I like being by the sea, travelling this country and abroad, The Lakes, Wales, Scotland, Yorkshire Dales, Peak District. Spain, west coast of Ireland....Will do the ‘long walks on the beach with the wind in our hair’ thing but would rather have a cold glass of Leffe and slurp a bowl of mussels in a pub, with that special one.

My Appearance

5’9”, stocky build ( I did play hockey, rugby and swim and still lurve the sports and LFC), clean shaven, good head of iron grey hair, none on chest, own teeth and ears. Grey eyes, contact lenses. Prefer casual gear, but can smarten up if required!
