Although I selected 'seperated' for marital status I am in fact single - I have never been married.

I have plenty of friends and an active social life but an important element is missing - romance. I'm looking for someone special to be a friend/companion and lover. We don't have to live in each others pockets or even live near one another.

I have all the usual interests: reading, cinema, walking, dining out etc. But I also like exploring unknown locations, learning about people and trying out new things - maybe that's why I'm giving this site a go.

ps I value my privacy and discretion. I'm under 5 feet tall and definitely curvaceous. I wear glasses but they suit me, I have good taste and know my own style. I'm attractive (when I make the effort) but no great beauty and definitely not perfect.

Someone who is confident but caring, is reliable and can balance a sense of responsibility with humour and not taking things too seriously.
