General

My husband is semi disabled - 5 years caring has eaten away my love for him which I have told him. I am a fun life loving person who does not want to spend the rest of my life without friendship and love - emotional and physical. I am often told that I am a warm open friendly person, and I enjoy being with people and just doing simple things.
Apart from looking after the home I enjoy many handicrafts, music, films, food and wine and I have recently been enjoying learning cabinet making skills and really enjoy furniture restoration. I enjoy gardening and have put my skills into constructing decking and the like in the garden- I like getting out and about and take my labrador with me.
I enjoy stretching my mind - I like quiz games and puzzles - on TV and computer but enjoy conversing about most things.
I took early retirement from GSK where I was a laboratory manager and Quality Mgr for the last year or so. I have always loved my work, and being a scientist love all things scientific including books and film - I love to read.

My Appearance

I am only about 5 feet tall - size 14/18 depending where you buy from! I have recently lost 75lbs and have so much more energy and feel somuch better about myself. I could dowith loosing about another stone, but don't want tobe scraggy as the older you are I think it does not do to be too skinny - I do look after my weight though.
I have very fine whitish hair which I highlight in silver - quite attractive and men say I'm sexy!
I dress in jeans and a top usually but love looking smart and elegant when I go out.
