About Me:

I live and work from in a large, peaceful old house with its own office for my use. The rest of the family is at school and work. That suits me well as I do so love having my own time and space, to work at my own pace and to enjoy my leisure time.
I have a generous and warm nature but I am self-reliant to a high degree and can come over as rather reserved until I know someone better. I am well known in the local community as I do much for it and have a smile for most people.
I am highly educated and intelligent although not by nature particularly academic. I enjoy conversations with people who have had experiences that interest me and I do like to know a wide variety of people to keep my mind open and receptive to new thoughts and ideas.
I have done much with my life in terms of interesting work, travel and other pursuits - although I'll keep that to explore during any further conversations with you.
My interests are mainly outdoors and musical. A love of the mountains and country has always been part of my life along with a love of dance and listening to music.
An enjoyable evening would include good company, food and music.

I am 44 years old, 169cm (5'6") tall with shoulder-length, light brown wavy hair and blue eyes. I keep myself fit and so I am not overly slim but have an athletic build with a womanly and not girlish figure - just right I like to think for someone who prefers to eat well but stay in shape.
I wear clothes to suit the occasion but do prefer more relaxed styles generally. I do not dress flamboyantly or wear much make-up although I do prefer to wear some bright colours. I very rarely wear skirts. I have a lovely smile and show it often - I do so love being in a good mood. I believe I have aged well and often enjoy admiring glances.
My fitness gives me a spring in my step and a healthy colour and appearance.

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for someone with a similar sunny, relaxed outlook as myself and a similar need for absolute discretion. My family will always come as my first responsibility but I am a vital person who would like a similarly vital partner to enjoy aspects of life with. It is important that you are intelligent, relaxed and enjoy conversation. It is also imperative that you do not smoke, drink too much and are active and healthy.
A well-formed personality and set of ideas is very important to me too.
