General

I'd like to think I am a really warm, loving person who, as someone once said to me a long time ago - "has a lot of love to give" - but sadly - I have never seemed to have been able to do that.

I grew up in Essex in the 60's and 70's and moved to the Midlands in the early 70's to go to university.

Life has been good to me overall - but - that phrase "has a lot of love to give" still rings in my ears and there must be someone out there who feels the same as me.

A full time relationship of course would be difficult - but spending quality time getting to know the real "you" would let me give that love at last!

I spend my time between running my own business -and being creative with music - playing the guitar, piano and singing. I have played in various bands from time to time.
It would be lovely to meet someone with whom I could share all this with

Of course I spend time on the usual things like travel, theatre, eating out, being with the family, granchilldren and so on - but without the right person to share it with ... life seems so empty.

I'm about 5'10" with quite a lot of grey hair for my age!
Most people say I look young for my age - which is nice! but - I do like to think that I do try to look after myself!
I'm a very practical person at heart - so I don't dress "professionally" but more smart casual".
