Friends say that I am a warm, tactile, funny, intelligent and affectionate (even romantic). I am bit of an extravert - I certainly like to express my enthusiasms and pleasures.

I am also a bit of an incurable optimist (with an tinge of realism!) and I love to laugh! I am gregarious and easy going and I can mix with almost all company from a black tie events, parties or dinner gatherings or in a pub or bar.

I prefer non-fiction to fiction (typically male). I read about history, politics, biographies, world and about events looking more to the human side of affairs. I try to make up for my lack of fiction with travel (particularly within Europe, US, Canada and Australia) and by my enjoyment of architecture, galleries, museums, operas and theatres. I am not much of a sport's lover (I fail the Norman Tebbit test – ask me why).

One interest I do share with many women is my love of conversation and dining and drinking lovely wine - one of life's lovely pleasures!

My Appearance

I am 175cm tall and am fit, broad and muscularly built like a rugby player.

I am balding and have platinum tinted hair – although some say it’s grey! I wear glasses and have a broad smile - I love to smile and laugh.
