About Me:

Hi - originally from the central belt in Scotland, but been up here in the north east for more than 25 years now. Work in secondary teaching. Have been separated for about 3 or 4 years now. Have two daughters - one of whom lives and works in London and the other lives locally. Have a number of friends locally with whom I socialise. Enjoy listeneing to music - probably best summed up as country/rock. Also enjoy reading when I get the chance. Play a bit of sport which I think has enabled me to keep reasonably fit. Play a bit of golf during the summer and also some cricket. Usually play indoor football after work on the Friday, before heading to the pub for 2 or 3 pints with some friends. Enjoying walking - sometimes even venturing up hills. Enjoy going out for a nice meal. Have done a bit of travelling in Europe, but equally happy with a quiet few days in a nice hotel on the west coast of Scotland. Friends tell me that I am very easy going and very easy to get on with. Some have even described me as very laid back. I'm 5'11" tall. A while since I weighed myself and I don't have scales, but my guess would be just around 12 stone and fairly slim. Short brown hair - OK, maybe a few flecks of grey - and blue eyes. Not sure what my best feature would be - would have to leave that for others to decide. Playing a bit of sport has, I think, helped to keep me reasonably fit. Friends - both male and female - say I'm wearing well. Wear collar and tie for work. Not really a jeans person - more smart casual. Can also dress to impress when necessary - shirt, tie, jacket, suit, DJ, or even kilt.

Ideal Partner:

I'm well aware that some women on this site are looking for discreet relationships, and I'm fine with that. My ideal would be a long term relationship with someone, but, in the meantime, I'm happy to just see how things go. Looking for someone attractive and intelligent. Happy to travel - within reason.
