About Me:

I have been married twice to domineering men. This hasn't changed my positive personality and sense of humour. I have owned businesses, which I started from scratch and am currently working on the next project. I am also a semi-professional writer. My English is excellent, but I would love a wider vocabulary. I enjoy many things, some simple, some costly. I like to sit outside in the garden, oil painting (just a hobby). I love walking, a stroll along the beach or through the woods. I like to watch Coronation Street (note many of you men hate soaps but that is the only one I am hooked on). I love swimming. I have many friends spread around the world, mainly met through work in the City of London many years ago. We keep in touch by e-mail and meet up when we can. My father was an engineer so I went to many schools and travelled far and wide. I missed some schooling but caught up eventually and went to college three years early. As well as the simple life, I love to be pampered occasionally. My dream would be a trip to Mauritius or a chateau in France or a B and B in Scotland/Ireland with a log fire. However, I should point out that my marital situation makes it impossible to get away for a weekend. I am happy with most food, be it fish and chips in Southend or a gourmet meal. My favourite is Indian or French cuisine and I am rather fond of wine. I love to dress up as I rarely get the opportunity, but am happy to wear trousers and a big sweater and flatties for a sporty day out. I wear high heels, but only from the car to the restaurant!!! I am still married but hoping to leave soon as my only son is an adult. I doubt I will remarry, but never say never. I am smallish at 5'2" with a shapely body. I am size 14 and tend to stay the same weight. I am not fat, but more than I should be. I still have long natural blonde hair and cut it regularly as I don't want to look ridiculous, shoulder length is my aim at my age. I have my own sense of dress style. I still wear a bikini because I can...have no stretch marks luckily. I favour suits just a tad above the knee with good quality tights and medium heels. I love red and black and will never submit to beige crimplene. I don't like tarty clothes as I feel you need to respect your age to a certain extent, but without turning into a frump.

Ideal Partner:

Initially, I am looking for a confidante as I have been through a tough few years with my partner, but I will explain what has happened to me and then drop the subject and get on with the future. I hope to find someone who will cherish me, pamper me and expect the same in return. I need sincerity and above all discretion due to my marital situation.

I know from experience men often prefer casual clothes which is fine by me, but my preference is for suits or smart casual. I am quite confident and don't mind doing things on my own (if my OH lets me off the leash!) but, who really wants to go alone to the cinema, restaurants, art galleries etc. I married to have a partner to share things with but my husband isn't very social, preferring to stay home night after night watching telly. My ideal men....don't take this too seriously....it is a pipedream...are Richard Gere because he looks great in a suit but is "off the wall" and unpredictable. I love Tom Cruise 'cos he is a bit of a nutter and a shortie. Who could resist that smile. But Bruce Willis and Billy Zane are OK too. I guess I like a "real man" who never raises his voice to a lady and opens the car door and spoils her. I will never raise my voice to you if you treat me like a lady. I live in London and have recently returned from living in Europe for several years.
