About Me:

I am an ordinary man, mannered and old school, educated and polite, kind and grounded. I would like to think I am classy and I certainly treat people with respect. I am not a George Clooney or a Brad Pitt and i don’t think I can ever be one so if that’s what you are after, who am I to say they don’t exist - of course they do and if you persevere who knows …..  

I said I am educated, I really am, keep going back to universities, sometimes to study and sometimes they ask me to come to have a chat with those young minds and that I really love.   I like good things in life and the good news is I don’t have to beg, borrow or steal for those things.   

I am married and have been for as long as I care to remember. One of those stories where you fall in love young and then you realise when your are not that young, that perhaps given a choice to live your life again you would do a few things differently - not all but some. But then hey isn’t that life for all of us, well most of us.   The thing is I am here, and that is clearly because while from a distance one could argue I have had a successful life, I know I haven’t, certainly not on all fronts. It isn’t egregious but it is not that great either

  I am a story teller, I like to talk and then there are times when I want to do nothing, not even talk - just people gaze and dream.  I enjoy a take away from the local Chinese if I feel like that, as much as I like eating and drinking in those fancy Michelin stars   

What separates me from the rest is how I conduct myself and I would like to think how I have been brought up shows. If you get attracted to manners and chivalry and old school charm, if you value confidence, personality, and a good mind….well chances are I won’t disappoint you …..

Ideal Partner:

I like all sorts of people, but personality really does it for me. I like women who are comfortably confident, who can stand an argument and have views of their own - topic can be any.  Looking for a laugh, a few drinks, watching the world go by with a glass of something nice, walking in the quiet holding hands ..and of course wherever that leads...tempered with respect and discretion always.  I have no specific preference to body types.
