About Me:
Where do I start, am unsure as to what to say here, hope it interests you into wanting to know more about me, which will be easier to say on a one to one basis....well here goes....I am 63, have lived in the North East all my life, apart from 6 months in Australia in the 80s, I have been married for a long time, but as most on here have grown apart and is now a loveless brother/sister relationship...I miss the closeness, cuddles and kisses...I have 2 grownup sons, 5 grandchildren, sadly I don't see much of them as one lives in Wales and the other in Berkshire.
I work for a smallish company, administrator in the accounts/payrol...well I do it all...overseen by a financial director
I am a witty person, and like to make people laugh, I am quite shy on a first meeting, but soon come out of it,I am a very caring person. I am discreet, have no intention of rocking any boats, including my own...for all I am in a lonely marriage, couldn't do that to my children.
I enjoy eating out, though I don't like spicy food or garlic so venues are a little limited, I enjoy the theatre and the internet where I play cards and have made some nice friends worldwide while doing so,I am also learning how to play bridge, although I doubt that there are enough years left to grasp it all.
I have started to do a fair amount of walking the past few months and am really enjoying it, wish I had started years ago, I also love cooking, my speciality being cakes and desserts. I have a varied taste in TV programns from documentaries to dramas and lots in between,I enjoy travel and have been to a lot of nice places.
What am I looking for....in the first instance, friendship, see how it goes,to put back some of the laughter into my life and into yours. I don't go on looks as I think the whole of the person is important, though agree that there has to be attraction/chemistry for things to go further than friendship. I would like to meet someone that I can becomes friends with, laugh with, have fun with, someone who looks as forward to getting a text,instant message on messenger or email from me as I do with them, who smiles at the thought of meeting up, be it for a coffee, chat or much more, just one man who makes me feel as special as I would him.
I am short, 5ft 1in....that 1 inch is important, I like the saying good things in little parcels,I am average to cuddly in build.
I have shortish light auburn hair and blue eyes, I have nice hands and nails...have always been told that I look 5 or so years younger than I am...take after my gran...
I like to dress nicely, never wear trousers, usually in a nice skirt and top, occasionally a dress, and always nice perfume, feel naked without it.

what am I looking for.....perhaps you???.....I like a man who can make me laugh, who dresses smart casual, a non to light smoker, who is caring and not into mind games.
Appearance is second to personality, as apperance changes in time....but the peron usually dosn't.
Someone living in the North East, as discrecion is important...we could meet up midway .....a Saturday is good for me, as I often go out shopping,I can also meet up early evening ...should we decide to meet a suitable time and a place for a meeting can be arranged when we chat.
