About Me:

In my working life I have to deal with unpleasant things from time to time so a safety valve is essential. I don’t take myself too seriously and I find humour in the strangest places (some may think). I love good conversation and I love challenging opinions too (but not all the time?). People fascinate me and I am very sociable but I can keep my own company too. I love music, the arts, debating current affairs (although only up to a point). I grew up watching Dr Who and Star Trek back in the day and I thought This Life and Our Friends In The North were brilliant in the 90s. I don’t do Tik Tok and most social platforms though I do use Linked In professionally. I am what I describe as an old-fashioned liberal. So I hold doors open for you but firmly believe that there should be true equity for all - and that if we had a matriarchy the world would be a more relaxed place.

Ideal Partner:

I’m in a long-term relationship which I’m not looking to change. But there has been no physical intimacy for many years and I miss that so I’m looking for someone maybe in a similar situation or who wants to explore “bending the rules”. No age assumptions - finding common ground and chemistry i.e. enjoying each other’s company so much that intimacy naturally happens is what I’m hoping for.
