Highly originally, I'm here because my home life isn't quite filling everything I need out of life and I'd like to make a connection with a like minded person. One of the things that I miss is the excitement that comes along with meeting someone new, getting to know each other and feeling that wee thrill when your phone goes. I'd love to meet someone to build a connection with over time - quick flings aren't what I'm looking for!

I've a pretty relaxed attitude to life in general and one of the things I love is getting to know people. I'm always happy to chat about my interests or yours and am more than capable of carrying my side of a conversation! I've a pretty eclectic range of hobbies ranging from trekking the hills with my dog to huddling over a table with some nerds roleplaying although I don't think socialising with good company putting the world to rights over a cold pint can ever really be beaten!

In conjunction with my relaxed attitude I like to consider myself as a gregarious, positive and empathetic person but if I'm being honest there's a healthy dose of cynicism in the mix as well!

Obviously discretion would be appreciated but we're probably already on the same page with regards to that!

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for someone who has the same itch I do to connect with someone and breathe a bit of excitement back into life! Hopefully you'll be as equally as easy going as I am and would like to chat, text and maybe meet if we think the spark is there.

My 'type' is variable and very much dependent on how our personalities connect. Ideally you'll like tall, broad, deep voiced Highlanders with a teuchter accent. If that's the case, you're in luck ;)
