Where to start, Well I guess in part for the same reason as you...

when the spark the je ne sais quoi goes missing, you will do almost anything to have that connection with someone... to feel wanted again, to know you are thought of in the small hours as you think of them.

I have to say I was skeptical at first of this site, did people really feel the same way as me, happy with life and no real desire to change anything fixed at home, but desperate for more, desperate to be wanted and to want someone?

I think its fair to say I have my life well balanced in so many ways apart from the aforementioned.

I am Dad of two, but dont let that put you off, as my profile says in a Widow. I am not looking for a stepmum or a nanny, but rather someone for me. I am a homeowner, house trained and good cook, I think my frends would say I mostly have my shit figured out,

As for my ability to meet up for coffee, drinks or if the relationship progressed other things, I am lucky that I get to spend time away with work so I always have an excuse to get away ….. My diary is my own and between school hours I can almost always make time.


I have tattoos , a beard and a sausage dog. I would consider my body type the enviable Dad Bod, fairly Muscualr but hidden behind some timber. I go to the gym but am not by any means a "gym rat".

Looks are definitely not the deciding factor for me, but then they always play a part.... so ask for my password and judge me by pictures.... if you got a tingle then message me .... if not then its fine....we all window shop.

Why IE ? I have had an amazing experience on here before, lasted over a year and you can meet some likeminded people .
