About Me:

Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile! I hope you don't regret doing it too soon!

I am a country boy born and bred with a love of nature and all things countryside. I'm not comfortable in busy city townscapes, traffic and noisey places. I'd rather walk and talk in the open air than sit around drinking tea and coffee etc.

I'm active by nature and upbringing and would very much enjoy the company of a similarly minded companion.

I am 5ft 9ins tall, 12st 4lb in weight with blue eyes and mainly bald fair hair on top! I have no airs and graces, since you tend to loose your vanity when you loose your hair. 😁

I was educated at Ilminster Grammar School, Reading University and the London School of Economics (LSE) But I'm still the same country boy I've always been - thank god - And I'm an atheist!

I believe I am relaxed, easy going, warm hearted, friendly, open-minded, non-judgemental, kind and considerate. (But I would say that wouldn't I !)

Currently I'm married to an older lady who is no longer as active as she used to be since
she suffers from various medical conditions which limits her ability to lead the same active lifestyle which we have both enjoyed for many years. Our respective sleep patterns are now completely out of sync and we now have to sleep in separate bedrooms. She is also now showing signs of dementia. Which leaves me without a close friend with whom I can share a more active, intimate and fulfilling relationship with.

I very much enjoy life as a whole and don't take myself too seriously. I used to laugh a lot in bed, but that doesn't happen anymore. 😥
But I still find a lot of humour in life generally and would like to meet a lady who is similarly inclined (preferably "horizontal" - only joking - of course ......... or AM I !) 😁

Due to ongoing family caring commitments and various childminding duties I would only be available to meet up and enjoy another person's company during daylight hours on week days from Monday to Friday inclusive.

Enough of this self indulgent rambling. Let me just say that there's still some life in this old dog yet and if there's any lady out there who simply wants to have some light hearted fun which is warm, tender, caring and friendly, then please get in touch and we can see how it goes. What have we got to loose? As they say: " You can't win the raffle if you don't buy a ticket!" How true is that? And ladies don't even have to pay for their ticket in this particular raffle! So much for "equality of the sexes!" ....... Better move on ....!

For those of you who like the outdoors I can tell you that I have a field which is on a hilltop between Taunton and Ilminster which enjoys the most spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. (As shown by the main picture of this profile) It is utter peace and calm. I have left it to "rewild" for the past two years and the change is simply spectacular. There are birds of prey, deer and a family of hares has made home in the brambles and undergrowth. I'd love to take anyone there who is interested.

Ideal Partner:

I should say that I am very much a one man one woman person and am not interested in one night stands or casual affairs with multiple partners. I take my relationships seriously and will have no other intimate relationships going on while I'm with a single partner.


I am looking for a lady who is modest, kind, caring, relaxed and easygoing and is not too judgemental, controlling or fault finding.

She will appreciate the outdoors and be active, friendly and tactile and like a warm, soft gentle cuddle when needed, now and again .... and again...... and again ................ (I wish!)
