About Me:

Father of three men, grandfather of five youngsters, husband of fifty plus years and with a thoroughly wonderful wife and family. Feel privileged to have lived through the age we have lived through but old age has its problems for some, less so for others of whom I am one. I am now a carer who needs space and the company of an active female.

So I am looking for someone of any age with whom I can spend the occasional day of ease in enjoying activities of mutual interest, in conversation and relaxation in comfortable space.

I enjoy a physical life. Gardening, cycling, walking, swimming and skiing are now my main outdoor activities. I enjoy good food and good wine. I enjoy going to the theatre, classical music and jazz. I am a grumpy old man shouting often at the TV although I do enjoy bingeing on a good series on Netflix or All 4.

Many years ago we bought a little house in south west France and I love spending time there with family and friends and I am interested in all things European.

I enjoy a degree of freedom on a couple of days a week but it is limited, and excludes nights out. In the absence of a companion, I normally spend a lot of it alone walking in the hills of North Wales and Shropshire. I can comfortably travel some distance quite easily.

Ideal Partner:

My ideal partner would be a sensual and uninhibited loving walking companion with whom I could spend time in the hills before lunch and time in bed after lunch, with an acceptable compromise of missing the pre-lunch activity. Someone like me who has experienced a lot of what life has to offer and wishes to continue to enjoy the things that give pleasure. Someone who will talk frankly and frequently about anything under the sun. A female in all her glory.
