About Me:

Well this is a strange thing to be doing... can you spot which are the bits auto generated by the site? I’ll be editing this bit of entertainment for your delectation (!?) over the next few days .... as and when time allows....

I’m generally quite open minded, but I'm more of a lover of Pan's Labyrinth and Monty Python than Britain's Got Talent. I listen to a lot of Bach, Howells, Jazz, rock, folk and world music rather than Lionel Richie. I play various instruments sax, clarinet, guitars, various odd mediaeval woodwind..

I would describe myself as brown eyes, kinda average size, tall and grey hair. Ha, so the site doesn’t have much of a grasp of English then! Im actually 6’ 5”, ex rugby player but not as fit as I should be, despite walking lots, cycling and playing tennis and kayaking, before the beastly lockdowns.

From the academic side of things, I'm university educated - what conceit.... As for my profession: art and design. Umm that’s a bit of a lie... bad machine.... I’m still trying to work out what I am... part architect, landscape architect, ecologist, designer, painter, sculptor, manager, fundraiser, writer, even programmer....

Looking for someone fun, intelligent, opinionated, arty and nice who wants a discrete relationship that would last for quite a while rather than a few months.

I like to think of myself as quick witted, imaginative and spontaneous. I’m quite passionate and wild but calm, thoughtful and quiet too.... bloody Gemini... not that I believe in any of that tosh, being an Uber rational scientist ... who believes rocks have souls....
