I have two sides to my personality. I can be conservative, predictable and a total gentleman. Then there is a slightly darker side that favours unpredictability and no longer wants to conform to perceived wisdom of what is good or bad in relationships. Life experience has taught me not to judge anyone or assume anything.

I would like to meet someone who has a similar outlook and a desire to move outside their comfort zone. You may be a caring and loyal wife who wants to behave in a way that would be unrecognisable and unwelcome to your partner, but who is then content to return to normality without guilt. Someone who has had supressed desires for a long time and who now wants to explore other sides of her character and who wants an alternative (albeit parallel) life.

General

I have a sense for the ridiculous and the unconventional. This obviously helps on a site such as this. I have a dry sense of humour, perhaps too dry for some and can be quite dark. There is much irony in life. I am many of the things that may rule me out of the running for those that always see the positive in everything and everyone. I am more guarded and life has shaped the way I think. That said, this has made me very adaptable. In terms of the boring stuff, I have a full time job in London which is fairly demanding though it does provide opportunities to meet up or disappear for a night away. That is as much as I will say about work as I am someone who works to live not the other way around.

You are probably not interested where I grew up and my ideal night out, as frankly given the nature of this site, it would seem rather ridiculous to say what my ideal night out is, as this should be obvious. Put it this way, it's definitely not board games...

I would ideally like to meet someone who lives or works in, or travels to London or North London. I have no age preferences at all - we'll either get a spark or we won't. Please don't assume that because you are a lot older than me, that I wouldn't be interested. Likewise if you are a lot younger. I generally don't find age to be a good guide of anything much at all.

So you can usually get an idea of how someone ticks by their interests, likes and dislikes. Interests are varied. I love to get on my bike, either the one with a motor or the one without, the former gives me a buzz, the latter keeps me fit. I love to listen to music, anything that involves real instruments, Mozart to Metallica. I love the countryside, the people, sounds, smells and the sights. I love talking to people. My dislikes include reality TV, actually most things on TV, 'celebrities' and politicians who are professional liars. You get the general idea.

My Appearance

I am 6' 2", medium length brown (alas now greying somewhat). I have blue/green eyes. I go to the gym, though I can't say I enjoy it and I find those that do enjoy it somewhat tedious. It does keep me in shape though. What is my best feature ? From a personal point of view that would be my brain, though for those that do judge a book by its cover, then probably my height. I'm not bad looking, though I'm not George Clooney, well the hair is similar I guess.
