About Me:

I’m 6 feet tall, fairly slim and in decent shape. My breath is fresh, my body clean, and my teeth are just that – mine. I have long-fingered, sensitive hands and a clever tongue. Apologies to Pogonophobes, since I have a rather hairy face – to balance the thinness of my greying hair.

With 3 degrees to my name, I’m academically bright, although whether that counts as ‘intelligent’ I’m not too sure. Ex-actor, director and lecturer, I now work as a guest writer for an international online magazine. Although my background is the Theatre, it’s music that I’m most passionate about. From Dowland to Amanda Palmer; Bach to Peter Hammill; Berlioz to Nina Simone; Sibelius to the Beatles; Shostakovich to June Tabor. My greatest love, however, is Gustav Mahler, and has been for over 50 years.

According to my daughter, I’m eccentric to the point of a bit bonkers, with a daft-cum-surreal sense of humour. Given my unfashionable left wing politics, it’s absolutely essential to be able to laugh during these parlous, neo-fascist times.

What am I doing here..? Well, the last several years of my comfortable marriage have been entirely without passion, without excitement, without physical intimacy. I’ve felt compelled several times to seek a certain kind of solace in the company of others, via separate relationships with women who’ve been equally disatisfied with their respective lot. Life really is too damned short not to aim, at least, to fill what remains of it with unbridled delight – given half a chance.

I might be getting on a bit, but don’t be fooled by my age. My libido remains fully intact, as does my sexual appetite. ‘Having sex’ is not what interests me, though – far too rudimentary for my tastes. I prefer the drawn-out, erotic, sensuous, tactile buzz of extended play, with my partner’s desires always placed first. I’m just an old-fashioned gentleman-lover at heart...
