I've joined this site to see how effective it might be. I'll spend a little time getting my bearings before attempting to make any contact. My territory, so to speak, is Lancs / Cumbria / North Yorks. If I go ahead I'll be looking for someone who lives within, say, 40 miles of the Lancaster / Kendal area. Unfortunately, within the first hour, I've had messages from ladies who are literally at the other end of the country. Maybe they just wanted an online chat which is not something that I would want.

I'm more passionate about Lord of the Rings (the book) and Shawshank Redemption, it's better than Top Gear. I'm currently into Classical, Jazz and Frank Sinatra but you would never catch me listening to The Rolling Stones.

Would I say that I'm intelligent? Well, I am professionally educated, what pays the bills? accounting and I would describe my relationship status as married and looking for something that goes wherever it leads me.

I'm average height, grey hair, slim and grey eyes.
