About Me:

Married for a long time, with two grown-up daughters still living at home. It just about qualifies as a sexless marriage as three times a year in pitch darkness just doesn't cut it. Filling this gap is the reason I'm here, I'll be honest.

I'd like to meet someone for a little illicit fun every now and again with someone not from miles and miles away. My OH works part-time in term-time so one must tread carefully.

I'm in a stable marriage, so not looking to change the domestic arrangements of anyone. I'd like to connect with someone mentally and sexually, so I guess that kinda makes it FWB but let's just see...

I'm an intelligent and articulate guy and I like the countryside, pubs, eating out, holidays, going to gigs, singing and playing in a couple of local bands (just do occasional pub and bar gigs). Making music is a real passion for me. I also love cats. I would say I'm pretty easy-going and quite broad-minded - definitely down to earth. I'm well-mannered, genuine and don't try to be someone I'm not. In fact I hate bullshitters.

I would describe myself as confident but not arrogant, and without an oversized ego.

I took early retirement and vol. redundancy at just under 56, having worked in insurance and graphic design, but mainly on the railways. Although I'm 59, I'm a young 59. I have a full head of hair and it isn't dyed, though some folks pretend not to believe me, to try and wind me up! Trouble is, right now it's in a lockdown "style", ha ha. I ticked the 5ft7" - 6ft box but in reality my height is a whisker under 6ft at 181cm.

I like to dress casual and smart-casual: usually jeans in winter and shorts in summer. I wear a suit so infrequently that when I need to wear one, I have to buy another as the previous suit is now ridiculously dated!

Ideal Partner:

My ideal partner would be someone witty and intelligent with a sense of humour and plenty of smiles; affectionate, too. I like positivity and optimism, although I do appreciate they can be in short supply at times! I admire resourcefulness, self-reliance and self sufficiency. A lady who drinks pints and can fix things just melts my heart.

Would like to meet someone up for a bit of fun without inhibitions, so lights (or candles) on and no darkness please. I've had enough darkness :)

I'm not too worried about looks but do prefer curvy rather than skinny. As I'm a bit of a musician, someone I could jam with would be the icing on the cake!
