About Me:

Hello, I’m Paul: single, sane, solvent and 100% available. I'm (expensively but inconclusively) educated, youthful but grown up, kind, considerate and compassionate. I'm also positive, happy, enthusiastic, funny and excited for the future. I was a Royal Navy fast-jet pilot and still fly for the fun of it when time and finance permits. These days I work from home (actually in a shed at the bottom of the garden) as an editor/feature writer for a Canadian aviation publication. This means that my time is essentially my own, and I can pretty much do what I want (if it’s legal) when I want. I’m not actively sporty but I am totally an outdoors person. I keep fit by taking long walks with my dogs and endure the occasional punitive visit to the gym. I laugh easily and often and I have a dry, somewhat sardonic sense of humour, according to those friends and relations whose opinion about me is worth sharing.
I like: all animals (especially dogs & horses – you will notice that almost all my pics include animals!), stability & domestic bliss, art, books & reading, aviation, extreme wild weather, being by the ocean but not on it, science, cosmology, walks in the British countryside, the unquenchable kindness of women, a siesta à deux in the afternoon together with the unequivocal signs of female arousal; deep discussions with intelligent people, comedy; most types of music; and sleep.
I dislike: cruelty of any sort; political stupidity and mendacity; snakes; crowds; infidelity; conflict; domestic violence - any violence against women; in-flight emergencies (my own); privilege and entitlement; disloyalty; TV reality shows and the tabloid press, junk food; the loss of love and being alone.
What am I looking for? That’s easy to define but hard to find! A genuine long-term relationship (till death do us part) with a warm-blooded, tactile, well educated and emotionally intelligent woman who understands the need for intimacy, trust, loyalty, strength and unconditional commitment in a relationship.
