So, I work in local government, I love good food and a decent red wine. Interested in politics, current affairs. Musically eclectic but currently into Lady Antebellum. ‘Looking for a good time’ as the song goes. Am here seeking friendship or more to provide a welcome distraction from a marriage where we both seem to be at different stages. He increasingly seeks routine and ritual as he immerses himself in retirement whilst I yearn for spontaneity and fun. Sometimes it feels like I live in a retirement home but I believe I have a few years to go before facing that kind of life! Not sure what I’m looking for but someone who’s in a similar situation perhaps, and seeking friendship or more. So, marriage a bit bumpy, am struggling to reconcile my own needs with those of husband who has become Victor Meldrew overnight. Just need a little fantasy world to escape to now and again.
