About Me:

Here again, hopeful as ever - this time maybe we'll meet, look into each other's eyes, and know straight away. Hope springs eternal. (Triple jabbed and happy to prove it if required).

I like all sorts of exercise, dancing (particularly the Argentine Tango) and my allotment. I'm married and don't want to change that but I would like to find a woman who wants to meet about once very few weeks for chatting, laughter and fun; a time when we can entertain each other and maybe more.

I am courteous, considerate, I'm educated to masters degree level and have a gsoh. I like good food and wine served by waiters at linen covered tables. I look after myself, I'm enthusiastic about exercise and keep myself very fit by swimming, cycling and running every week. I live in Bebington, Wirral and prefer someone within 30 miles. I am a retired civil engineer and managed design work in a senior role, I'm competitive and like to try new things and meet new people. I can meet during the day or for the occasional evening apart from weekends. My life is fine as far as it goes but I want to grow and develop and learn new things. I like to watch sport as well as participate but I also enjoy the finer things in life. Going to the cinema, the theatre, classical concerts and, lately, I've discovered the drama and emotion of opera, particularly Puccini. During the lockdowns I've been surprised by chess. Yes, boring old chess - it turns out that it can be totally absorbing and very challenging. As they say these days - who knew?

I'd rather be walking in the mountains and the countryside than trapped in a city although with the right person anything is enjoyable. I don't want to replicate the life I've got, I want to experience new thoughts and sensations.

Ideal Partner:

Attractive, elegant and, most importantly, intelligent. Working part time or retired preferred. You would need to be able to converse intelligently with wit and humour. I want the rest of my life to be filled with exchanging exciting texts and seeing you laughing and happy. There's no greater aphrodisiac than a happy woman. xx
