About Me:

Hi, I'm a fairly laid back self employed guy with a quick sense of humour (whether I'm actually funny or not is for you to judge!), loving (and daft) father. I'm romantic, optimistic, realistic and and am genuinely interested in people, particularly if I can help them in some way. I am also quite focused, can be serious and cerebral, and will work like a dog if I need to.

I love most things arty/creative/literary, but like with most people there are loads of other things I am into that are totally at odds with those having an arty side. I guess I am willing to engage with, and get my brain around, most things.

I am fairly self aware (not all that common I have found, despite what people like to tell themselves!), I know my strengths and weaknesses. I have been here a couple of times in the last few years, had two relationships, the last one ended three years ago now. I've learned things along the way!

I am fairly slim, and fit-ish (could do better!), and reasonably good looking from what I am told.

So far, so vague, right? Well, come and talk to me, lets find out some specifics :)

Ideal Partner:

I am happy to say I am not constrained by having a 'type' or an idea of what sort of person I am looking for. Connection and attraction between two people are what counts. I do know that ideally you will be fairly intelligent, open minded with a good sense of humour and interested in life and people. If you are an optimist like me all the better!

I am hoping to find someone for a 'relationship' that is of course a delicious mutual attraction, but also friendship and affection, thats really important. I am not looking for anything JUST physical; I would want to be able to look out for you and care how you are, even if it is from a little bit of a distance sometimes, and I'd hope you could do the same. But of course..aching to hold someone, the chemistry and anticipation....all important too ;)

To be really practical (dull!) I am available typically more days than evenings (can vary though) and would like to meet quite early on, even just for a coffee, because there is no substitute for meeting in person.
