Perhaps it's best to tell you: This is how I look: average height, brown hair, a rather generous average build (unfit but trying to work on it) and brown eyes. I am tactile (if invited), give a mean hug and try very hard to be a gentleman . . . albeit with a naughty streak.

I have a dry sense of humour but have been known to embarrass myself with slapstick comedy like The Play That Goes Wrong, Police Academy and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Inbetweeners and Simpsons leave me cold!

Musically, English Elizabethan (and European contemporaries), Bach and anything Baroque are wonderful and enjoy anything tuneful from 60s Rock and Roll to ABBA and Queen. I'm not a fan of Alternative, Garage, House or the like.

Am I well-educated? Well, I'm technically trained and ‘grew up’ educationally after starting work with Masters level recognition. I now work in management/HR. My relationship status is ‘in a relationship’ and looking for something that goes wherever it goes.

My 2nd favourite activity is taking my dog for a walk, perhaps on the Ham in Tewkesbury or along the Severn beyond. Probably spend more time in Cheltenham though.

My best attributes are, I’m told, my eyes which have a tendency to twinkle with amusement and, quite possibly, mischief. I like to think I am considerate, polite and, generally, enjoyable company.

Ideal Partner:

I’m genuinely not sure. Someone with a sense of humour and of the ridiculous. Who treats and wants to be treated with respect but isn’t too self-obsessed. Fun and sexy (and likes sex!) is good too.
