About Me:

Firstly I would like to apologise to anyone who read my profile as I was in a hurry and used the auto-writer. Mistake. It doesn't work. Here is the updated , and gramatically improved version. I am 6 ft, blond, blue-eyed, athletic build and my hair is capable of being long but it depends.

I'm university educated in the sciences field up to MSc level although I no longer (sadly) work in the field. I now work in Logistics. Currently I'm separated after a 20 year relationship and a ten year marriage. Honest truth we became a bit bored and she, being 10 years younger decided there were things she wanted to do. We still are friends.

I would describe myself as friendly, genuine and intelligent. My ex would add intense and prone to getting over-serious but with a stubborn streak.

Movies and TV are not that important to me and I am not a lover of soaps, reality.... I tend to watch little and what I do is recomended to me and I watch on catch-up. I enjoyed, if that is the right word, Killng Eve. Fallback is Sci-fi which I love and read lots of and Documentaries. On a sporting level I like rugby, ex-prop, and a few other sports. I will watch football if on but am ambivalent to who wins.

Musically I listen to just about everything, literally from Abba to ZZ Top, via classical, jazz, rock, opera etc. A lot of it on vinyl. In the car its Dire Straits, Springsteen,Nirvana (for the innapropeiatly named 'Rush Hour') and Heavy Rock/metal. I use music to enhance and alter mood so Bob Marley and Kraftwerk are in there as well. Live music is also good.

I tend to more interested in what is happening in the World rather than what is happening on 'Srictly come Baking on Ice' and tend to read the Times, I, Guardian etc rather than tabloids.

I am looking , I think, as its 20 years since I dated, for I don't know. I hope to spot it when it happens. On the one hand relationships are great but so is fulfillimg a fantasy in the short term.

Frankly I am seperated from a 20 year marriage and a little unsure but hoping to find both friends and perhaps a future partner. However perhaps fun in the short term as I have been out of the 'game' for 20 years +
